The Gulf Shores Beaches Paradise Found.
The beaches of Gulf Shores encompass Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fort
Morgan, Foley, and South Baldwin County. I
f you ask anyone who has visited the area, most will agree that
these beaches are just a little bit of southern paradise.
Sparkling sugar white sand abounds and the clear blue skies roll
endless over the waves.
The beaches of the Gulf Shores are a well kept secret that have been
enjoyed by generations of visitors.
Like many beaches the beaches in the Gulf Shores use the flag system
to educate swimmers as to the conditions of the water and the safety
of the water. The green flag as you might guess means that the
conditions in the water are clam and that it is safe to swim.
The yellow flag means that there are concerns.
The water currents and its surf are moderate and you should swim
with caution only. If you choose to swim with the yellow flag then
you must also be certain to watch the area for ever changing
conditions.
Most importantly the red flag means no swimming. Get out of the
water if you are swimming since there are clearly issues with the
currents and danger is lurking. Red flag, no swimming!
The beaches of the Gulf Shores and Orange County are often called
the American Riviera and many have enjoyed the story book sugar
white sand that covers the wickedly perfect beaches. With a yearly
average temperature of 68 degrees and an average annual water
temperature of 70 degrees what more could you ask for!
Besides simply enjoying sunning yourself on the beach and soaking up
the rays of the Alabama sun, you can also enjoy other Alabama
attractions such as Alabama Adventure Land, an amusement park for
all ages, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, where you can enjoy over 300
animals in a beautiful habitat they call home, the Track, an
amusement park with go carts, bumper cars, arcade games, miniature
golf, and even sky coasting or you may even enjoy one of the many
water parks in the area.
Who knows what exquisite Alabama beach or enjoyable Alabama
attraction will catch your fancy but you can be sure that if you
take the plunge and visit Alabama’s Gulf Shore beaches that you will
find something that makes everyone in your family terribly happy!
Enjoy the trip!
